Dirt jump DNA with all the speed and roll-over of 29" wheels. The San Quentin 3 29 is the top dog in the SQ 29 family. Marin worked tirelessly to create the very best-spec’d San Quentin 29 ever but still kept the price tag down to earth and in reach of everyone. Marzocchi Z2 fork? Check. TRP 4-piston brakes and 12-speed drivetrain? TranzX dropper post? You got it. FSA cranks, Maxxis rubber and plenty of kick-ass Marin kit? Abso-freakin-lutely.

The San Quentin 3 features a series 3 aluminium frame, with more advanced tube forming, more complex dropouts, post mount disc tabs, full internal cable routing, and a boost 148mm thru-axle. ISCG 05 tabs are included for easy chain retention device installation for rowdier riders. Taking cues from the Alcatraz, the San Quentin provides all the benefits of the DJ style with massive stand over, slick frame tubes, and a sexy paint job. The slack head tube angle paired with a steep seat tube angle create a ride that will fly uphill with perfect front wheel precision but then descend like it’s on rails. The balanced rider position thanks to the steep seat tube puts your weight between the wheels for impressive climbing and handling on flats, while the slack front end and short rear center help to pull you through the rough descents and corners with an intuitive feel.
