The E-One Sixty 10K takes podium spot in Merida’s high-performance, full-suspension electric mountain bike line-up. For 2021 the 10k is powered by Shimano’s revolutionary new EP8 motor, offering increased torque to 85 Nm in a smaller, lighter package with 36% less pedalling resistance, reducing friction and battery consumption. The new 630wh internal battery offers an extended range and super-fast charging, while Merida’s 'Thermo Gate' openings near the head tube channel and dissipate warm air. A lightweight Carbon front end is combined with a 6061 Aluminium rear end for durability and is spec’d to the nines with Fox factory fork and shock combo, burly Shimano XTR 12 speed drivetrain and matching 4 piston hydraulic disc brakes. Then to provide fantastic ‘rolling over obstacles’ behaviour with maximum traction, Merida combined a 29er front wheel with a 27.5” rear wheel, the perfect combination of precision, playfulness and traction.

Merida Dual Suspension Bike Sizing Chart
Merida is an international bike brand with its headquarters in Taiwan, the R&D department is based near Stuttgart in Germany. To be based in Germany has historical reasons for MERIDA but the precise location was chosen specifically because the region around Stuttgart is one of the hot spots of the automotive and machine building industry which Germany is famous for and attracts a hugely skilled design and engineer labor force.
The Merida team are more than just highly trained and experienced bicycle creators – they simply love everything ‘bike’. Most of their R&D staff are daily bike commuters while others are serious mountain bikers, who regularly compete in Marathon, Enduro and Downhill competitions, or licensed road racers and even ambitious Ironman triathletes.
