Thanks to incorporating selected aero details from Merida’s test and award-winning Reacto aero bike, the Scultura is the most aerodynamic version ever. Yet, it remains true to its lightweight, agility and rider comfort focus; in fact it takes these factors to the next level. The Scultura demonstrates outstanding compliance, providing the rider with class-leading riding comfort that will help to keep the body fresh for the final sprint or ascent. This classic road bike combines outstanding comfort with whippet-like acceleration and class-leading climbing pedigree.
The Scultura 4000 features the same race-proven geometry as Merida’s aero specialist, the Reacto, in a lightweight, comfort-focused CF3 full carbon frame and fork. Packed with class leading technology such as the X-taper headtube which significantly boost precision, the Di2 ready internal cable routing and the smart wire port cable housing which semi-integrates cables through the headset for a clean uncluttered look as well as a more aerodynamic frame structure. Equipped with the latest, super smooth Shimano 2 x 12-speed 105 groupset and matching hydraulic disc brakes. Rolling on durable Merida Expert CC rims with Shimano hubs and Continental Ultra Sport III 700 x 28c tyres for a perfect balance of fast rolling race speed and durability. With low weight and class-leading riding comfort the Scultura 4000 is the complete package.

Merida Scultura Bike Sizing Chart
Merida is an international bike brand with its headquarters in Taiwan, the R&D department is based near Stuttgart in Germany. To be based in Germany has historical reasons for MERIDA but the precise location was chosen specifically because the region around Stuttgart is one of the hot spots of the automotive and machine building industry which Germany is famous for and attracts a hugely skilled design and engineer labor force.
The Merida team are more than just highly trained and experienced bicycle creators – they simply love everything ‘bike’. Most of their R&D staff are daily bike commuters while others are serious mountain bikers, who regularly compete in Marathon, Enduro and Downhill competitions, or licensed road racers and even ambitious Ironman triathletes.
