Trail session on Saturday, marathon event on Sunday. That is the perfect timetable for Merida’s hugely versatile mid-travel One Twenty. It loves to shine on demanding descends and covers ground effortlessly. The One Twenty 3000 features a lightweight and hugely stiff carbon front triangle and combines it with a more wallet-friendly triple butted aluminium rear end. This allows the 3000 to be kitted out with some quality Shimano components for smooth and reliable shifting and on-point braking performance. While very much a trail bike at heart, the modern yet balanced trail bike geometry, paired with fantastic frame stiffness, created a mid-travel bike that is super capable on rough trails but also carries speed perfectly on less technically demanding tracks. With multiple test successes, including a 'BEST IN TEST' in Enduro Mountainbike Magazine for the 2020 ONE-TWENTY 8000, The One Twenty will once again impress with its versatility and unstoppable trail munching capabilities.

Merida Dual Suspension Bike Sizing Chart
Merida is an international bike brand with its headquarters in Taiwan, the R&D department is based near Stuttgart in Germany. To be based in Germany has historical reasons for MERIDA but the precise location was chosen specifically because the region around Stuttgart is one of the hot spots of the automotive and machine building industry which Germany is famous for and attracts a hugely skilled design and engineer labor force.
The Merida team are more than just highly trained and experienced bicycle creators – they simply love everything ‘bike’. Most of their R&D staff are daily bike commuters while others are serious mountain bikers, who regularly compete in Marathon, Enduro and Downhill competitions, or licensed road racers and even ambitious Ironman triathletes. Get the behind the scenes view of the Merida R&D centre and meet some of their key members of staff in the below video.
