The El Roy is the ultimate aggressive steel hardtail that’ll get you to the top, and then really shine on the way down, with a spicy mix of progressive geometry and supple steel. This 29” wheel trail slayer was purpose built for silly fun days in the woods, no matter the conditions. Named in honour of the Marin teams favourite post-ride taqueria, the El Roy is wrapped up with a stout Series 3 double butted and formed CrMo frameset with investment cast dropouts, integrated drop-in headset, external brake and hose mounts, all full ED coated for longevity. Bosses on the underside of the top tube give the rider the option to mount tools and other accessories in a tidy fashion. Complementing the CrMo frame is the iconic Marzocchi Z1 fork (140mm), a 12-speed Shimano Deore drivetrain, X-Fusion Manic dropper post, 4-piston Shimano disc brakes and sticky Maxxis Assegai tires. Grab one of two frame sizes, Regular or Grande, and enjoy the delicious goodness that Marin cooked up.
